Επιλογή Συμμετοχής
Η επιλογή της εκπροσώπου των Φιλιππίνων για τον παρθενικό διαγωνισμό Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσα από τον εθνικό τελικό «Philippine Selection Night», ο οποίος διοργανώθηκε από το δίκτυο ABS-CBN στα τέλη Αυγούστου.
Στη ζωντανή αυτή βραδιά διαγωνίστηκαν συνολικά δέκα φιναλίστ, με το τελικό αποτέλεσμα να κρίνεται από ένα συνδυαστικό σύστημα ψηφοφορίας. Συγκεκριμένα, η ανάδειξη της νικήτριας βασίστηκε κατά 40% στην ετυμηγορία μιας επαγγελματικής κριτικής επιτροπής, κατά 40% στην ψήφο του τηλεοπτικού κοινού των Φιλιππίνων, και κατά 20% στην online ψηφοφορία των τηλεθεατών από τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο. Η διαδικασία αυτή έστεψε μεγάλη νικήτρια την Carmelle Collado, η οποία θα ταξιδέψει στην Μπανγκόκ με το ποπ κομμάτι "Sobra-Sobra".
Βιογραφικό
